Craydel, Africa’s largest study abroad platform, in partnership with Constructor University (Germany's top-ranked private university), is thrilled to announce the "The WunderGig" competition! This is an incredible opportunity to visit a leading private university in Germany, create inspiring content, and empower hundreds of thousands of learners in Africa to explore the opportunities to study in Germany!

During the trip, you will:

• Interact with students, faculty, and researchers at a top private German university.
• Tour state-of-the-art facilities and experience German academic excellence firsthand.
• Create compelling content showcasing your journey, the university, and innovative educational and career opportunities for learners from Africa in Germany!

To be eligible for "The WunderGig" competition, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a legal resident of Kenya or Rwanda. Proof of residency will be required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application
• Active content creator with a demonstrable portfolio across at least one of the following platforms:
  • YouTube: minimum 1,000 subscribers
  • Instagram/TikTok: minimum 1,000 followers
  • Other relevant platforms (to be assessed on a case-by-case basis based on reach and engagement)
• Preferred content niches(not exclusive): Education, Tech, Innovation, Lifestyle, Travel, Culture Exchange are highly encouraged to apply.
• English proficiency required: Proficiency in English is required for communication and content creation during the trip.

1. Original submission on Craydel Website via https://competitions.craydel.com/cu Original Submission contains:
   1. Create a 60-second original video pitching Constructor University and lifestyle/career opportunities in Germany
   2. A Word concept proposal (Max 500 words), preliminary content ideas for the Germany trip. This should include key themes or angles you would explore related to the university and German culture/innovation/opportunities for African learners & how you plan to engage your audience throughout the trip.
   3. Submit portfolio links to your primary content channels/platform/portfolio
2. Post video on social media (on IG, TikTok, Facebook) using the hashtag #mywundergig, tagging:
   1. Craydel Kenya
   2. Craydel Rwanda
   3. Constructor University

• Contest open: July 1, 2025
• Deadline: July 31, 2025 (midnight)
• Winner notified(via email and/or phone): August 15, 2025
• Public announcement on Craydel social media channels & website: August 15, 2025
• Trip to Germany: 7-day trip in October 2025*
  *Specific dates will be confirmed with the winner based on university availability and visa processing times.

• Round-trip economy airfare from Nairobi/Kigali to Germany.
• 6 nights’ accommodation
• Daily meals and a per diem for incidental expenses.
• Ground transportation in Germany related to the university visit and planned activities.
• Visa application fees (if applicable, upon successful submission of required documents).
• Comprehensive travel insurance for the duration of the trip (meeting Schengen visa requirements)

Not Included in the prize:

• Costs associated with obtaining a passport or any other personal travel documents.
• Personal expenses (e.g., souvenirs, additional excursions not explicitly planned).
• All airport transfers in Kenya/Rwanda and Germany.
• Any costs incurred due to visa rejection (though assistance with application will be provided)
• Non-transferable: The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

• Have a valid passport with at least six months of validity beyond the planned return date
• Craydel will provide an invitation letter from the German university and assist with the visa application process. Craydel team will assist the winner in securing the visa. The winner must meet all visa requirements set by the German Embassy in Nairobi or Kigali.
• Should the winner be unable to secure a visa, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may be selected.

• The winner agrees to create content (minimum of 10 video pieces) throughout their trip to Germany, showcasing the partner university, their experiences, and the overall educational environment and post it on their social media handles tagging Craydel & Constructor University’s social media handles.
• All content created during the trip, about the competition and the university visit, grants Craydel and Constructor university a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute the content across their platforms for promotional and educational purposes.

1. Eligibility & verification
   1. All criteria outlined above must be met. Craydel reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant at any stage of the competition.
   2. Inaccurate or false information provided may lead to disqualification.
2. Judging Criteria
   1. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges from Craydel & Constructor University.
   2. Judging will be based on creativity, originality, content quality, relevance to the competition theme, audience engagement, and the strength of the concept proposal.
   3. The decision of the judges is final and binding.
   4. No applications or submissions will be accepted after the closing date
3. Code of conduct
   1. The winner is expected to represent Craydel and their home country respectfully and professionally at all times during the trip.
   2. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or detrimental to the reputation of Craydel or the Constructor university may result in the immediate termination of the trip and forfeiture of any remaining prize Benefits.
4. Publicity
   1. By entering, participants grant Craydel & Constructor University, the right to use their name, likeness, and submitted content for promotional purposes without further compensation.
5. Disqualification
   1. Craydel reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these terms and conditions, engages in fraudulent activity, or attempts to manipulate the competition process.
6. Force Majeure
   1. Craydel is not responsible for any unforeseen circumstances or events beyond its control that may affect the competition or the prize, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, or travel Restrictions.
7. Amendments
   1. Craydel reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on the competition Website.
